This year the Miss Art Deco Beauty Pageant crowning ceremony took place during the Red Carpet Vintage Fashion Show during the 40th annual Art Deco Weekend Festival. Due to the cancellation of this year's competition, the newly crown titleholders were appointed by the Pageant Officials. The event took place on January 14, 2017 at the Art Deco Welcome Center in Miami Beach, Florida.

Layda Hernandez, Miss Art Deco 2017 competed last year for the title were she placed first runner up to Tyeshaa Hudson, Miss Art Deco 2016 and also won Photogenic award.

Naomi Quinonez, Miss Teen Art Deco 2017 is an inspiring fashion model who placed first runner up at her first pageant Miss South Florida Teen USA.
