Announcing the new Miss Teen Art Deco 2017

We are happy to announce that our new Miss Teen Art Deco 2017 is Mercedes Guzman. Mercedes was also a previous contestant at the Miss South Florida Teen USA pageant. Her first title captured was Miss Florida Keys USA little sister, previous mentoring program of Miss Florida USA pageant. She also won the title of Miss Jr. Cuban American in 2015. Mercedes Guzman is an inspiring fashion model and dual enrolled student. Mercedes Guzman will continue the reign of representing the title of Miss Teen Art Deco 2017. We welcome her as part of the Miss Art Deco Pageant Family!

As of Saturday April 15, 2017, Naomi Quinonez officially step down her title at Miss Teen Art Deco 2017. Naomi Quinonez, was originally crowned on January 14, 2017 during Art Deco Weekend Festival. Since her reign, Naomi made very few appearances, mainly in several local fashion shows. Due to personal issues, it became difficult for her to fulfil her duties to make requested schedule appearances and absent at committed events which are against the pageant contract leading to the difficult decision for her to resign her title. We wish Naomi Quinonez the very best in all her future ventures.

This is the first for the Miss Art Deco Pageant to have a titleholder step down from the crown.
